Ηρακλής Μπράς

Ο Ηρακλήs Μπραs γεννήθηκε στην Αθήνα το 1984. Από ηλικία τεσσάρων ετών στο εργαστήριο του πατέρα του Νικόλαου Μπρα μυείται [σε θεωρητικό επίπεδο] στα μυστικά τηs κατασκευήs των μουσικών οργάνων. 
Έντεκα ετών ξεκινάει πρακτικά την πρώτη κατασκευή βιολιού δουλεύοντας  σε μοντέλο Jacob Stainer. 
Εκτός από την κατασκευή εγχόρδων μουσικών οργάνων, το 1997 ξεκινά και τιs κατασκευές των Αρχαίων Ελληνικών Μουσικών Οργάνων βοηθώνταs σημαντικά στην έρευνα τον πατέρα του. 
Το 2001 έλαβε συμμετοχή στον τριετή διεθνή διαγωνισμό 'Antonio Stradivarius’ που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Cremona τής Ιταλίας. 
Σπούδασε Αγιογραφία και αποφοίτησε με άριστα.
Ξένες γλώσσες: Αγγλικά επίπεδο (First certificate in English of Cambridge University ).

Το 2011 βοήθησε τον Νικόλαο Μπρα στην ολοκλήρωση του Μουσείου Ηρακλής (Μουσείο  Αρχαίων Ελληνικών Μουσικών Οργάνων). 
Σήμερα συνεχίζει τις κατασκευές και την έρευνα μουσικών οργάνων στο εργαστήριο του Νικόλαου Μπρα και εξειδικεύεται στο μυστικό της σύνθεσης βερνικιών των εγχόρδων μουσικών οργάνων.




Iraklis Brass was born in Athens in 1984. At the age of four he initiated into the  secrets of musical instruments construction (at a theoretical level), in his father’s workshop, Nikolaos Brass. 
When he turned eleven he made his first violin, working on a model of Jacob Stainer. Besides the construction of stringed musical instruments, in 1997 he started manufacturing ancient Greek musical instruments, helping his father in his research.
  
In 2001 he took part in the Stradivarius International Violin Competition which took place in Cremona of Italy.
   
He studied Hagiography and graduated  with honors. He speaks English fluently and has gained the diploma of First certificate in English of Cambridge University. 

In 2011 he helped Nikolaos Brass in completion of Hercules Museum (the first Museum of reconstructed ancient Greek musical instruments, in Athens).

Today he continues the construction and the research in the workshop of his father  

Nikolaos Brass and he also, specializes in the varnish composition of musical instruments.
